Here's Johny!

My first horror movie was Stanley Kubrick's, the Shining! From that day I was hooked into horror movies! To pay tribute to my first love of horror, I designed a one of a kind homage to the movie.

It is full size Axe and real and as close as I could get to the movie look!

I took my design skills and illustrated what you see on both sides to paint the picture of the horror Stanley brings to the movie screen. I wanted this to be a piece someone would hang on the wall, so I created a shadow frame box in the fashion of the door Jack chops through. And what is a tribute to the Shining without the patterns and colors of Kubrick's Overlook.
